Andrew told us the story when we last saw him in Sydney. It is quite amusing really. You can read about it here

Andrew has produced an article for Punting Ace detailing the evening mentioned in the Herald Sun article here. It makes for very interesting reading . . .

I can't believe the audacity of some of these places.

Your right Champ, it is completely incomprehensible!

Sensational read guys.Yes its totally incomprehensible but the way the story was written, well Im still in stitches.
Simply unbelievable
Has anyone on this forum happened to have had any tuition from Andrew or his team on how to beat the game?
Would also make for an interesting read on how someone could learn how to make a regular income from blackjack having started with very little experience.

Great article Andrew! Well done PAce for getting this on the site. I was pissing myself at the conversation with the goons, incredible how badly they handled it. I didnt know about that case with Peter Dalamangas. Shocking stuff :(

The cloak and daggers surrounding Peter's case are just incredible.

The most unbelievable aspect of it all is that no criminal charges were laid for his murder and it’s been business as usual SCC. The NSW Supreme Court case for compensation by Peter's parents and his fiancée was recently settled (a few months ago) confidentiality out of court by SCC. Money can't buy back anyone’s life and it’s certainly a case of justice not being served.

How no one can do prison time for the use of unreasonable force is beyond me? Makes me think visiting a casino in the mafia riddled Los Vegas is a lot safer than our jewel in the crown - SCC.

I think Andrew Scott is very lucky indeed. Ever since the Bjelke Petersen days the Jupiters Security have had a name for behaving like violent thugs. Add into the equation how little a manager likes to have been made to look a fool or to have his authority challenged and you end up with the standard situation where a casino security member gets to violently assault someone and the casino once again refuses to let the police see the video citing "security reasons"

It was a lot scarier than Vegas! But I came out of it in the end with all my fingers intact :)

I think a letter to the Government Inspector or relevant gaming board might be in order. Ask if there is any condition a manager can void chips and question whether a person who threatens to void chips under such circumstances is a fit person to hold a gaming licence

There's no point. I used to do that sort of thing, but it's just a waste of time. Half these GIs used to work for casinos or alternatively understand nothing about how casinos really work and are useles...

Now it is more like the black $100 chips, the purple $500 chips (known as monkeys) and the $1,000 chips (known as gorillas). Every now and then I am lucky enough to be holding one or two bananas (for those of you that don’t know, a banana is the casino gambler’s most treasured possession – a $5,000 chip).

I have always known them as tigers($1000) or caddies($5000)and a casinos gamber's most prized possession would certainly have to be a plaque($25000 or $100000)

I've heard the expression tigers for both $1k and $100 chips (there used to be black and yellow in some places).

And yes of course plaques are better than bananas, but really how often do you get plaques? It's really just for the baccarat losers (sorry, players!)...

Casino cut him off before he won his money back and then some. Smart :D

The manager must have received a phone call to cut him off.

If you are going to skim profits you should be betting $100 max.
